Feeder hay is any hay that took some rain damage before it was baled. Feeder hay can also be bales that have been damaged in the stack, generally from being on the bottom of the stack and being in the dirt or wet ground. This hay is a great option for cows or other animals that can handle less that premium quality. This hay wouldn’t be for horses.
